About the trend

What is the Raindance AI trend?

The Raindance AI trend recreates the pier scene from the music video for “Raindance” by Dave featuring Tems: one person sits at the edge of a wooden pier while the other sings to them at golden hour. Since late September 2026 people have been recasting both roles with themselves, their partners and their best friends.

Most tutorials chain three tools: a character sheet for each person, a video model driven by a line-art copy of the music video, and an editor to lay the song back on. This page does the filming in one go. You upload two photos, it builds the wide pier shot and the close-up with your real faces, then films both shots as one 10-second vertical clip.

Put the person who listens in the first photo and the person who sings in the second. Clear, front-facing photos with one person in each give the most recognizable faces, especially in the close-up.

Questions

Before you film

How do I do the Raindance AI trend?

Upload a photo of the person who sits on the pier and a photo of the person who sings. In about a minute you get a free preview of the two frames. If the faces look right, press film: a few minutes later you have a 10-second vertical clip — the wide pier shot, then the close-up.

How much does it cost?

Each Raindance video uses 20 credits. Packs are paid once with no subscription: $4.99 for 2 videos (first purchase only), $9.90 for 6 videos or $24.90 for 17 videos. If a video fails, the credits go back automatically.

Is it free?

The preview is free: upload two photos and see both frames with your faces before paying anything (3 previews a day). Filming the 10-second clip uses purchased credits, because it renders on a paid video model.

Does it include the Raindance song?

No. The clip is made to line up with the song, but the music belongs to the artists, so we do not put it in the file. Open the Raindance sound on TikTok or Reels, tap “Use this sound” and add your clip — that is also how the trend gets its reach.

Is the original music video used?

No footage from the music video is used. The pier, the light and the framing are generated around your two photos.

What photos work best?

One person per photo, face clearly visible and facing the camera, in decent light. Group shots, sunglasses or heavy filters make the faces in the close-up less like the real people.

Can I use photos of other people?

Only of people who agreed to be in the video. No nudity, no minors, and no photos of public figures or strangers.

Can I make the Raindance video without an app?

Yes — this page runs in the browser, with no app or account on another service. Doing it by hand takes a character sheet per person, a reference-to-video model and an editor; this page does the generating for you.
