About the trend

What is the paws at you meme?

“*paws at you*” is an old internet roleplay line — the cat-like way of tapping someone for attention. Through 2026 furry artists drew their characters facing the viewer with one paw pressed to the screen, and in late October 2026 it blew up with a snow leopard called Meimei: clips and GIFs of her paw on the glass, posted with “*paws at you*” and a plea repeated line after line — “*paws at you* can you stream your game for me”, “*paws at you* pet me”.

This page makes the clip for your own pet or character from one photo. AI turns the photo to face the camera, then films a 6-second vertical video of the paw reaching out and pressing the screen twice. It works with real photos of cats, dogs and other animals, and with drawings — the art style is kept.

The video has no text and no sound, so you add your own “*paws at you*” line and the trending sound when you post. Memebop is not affiliated with any zoo or with the artists who started the meme.

Questions

Before you film

How do I make a paws at you video?

Upload one clear photo or drawing and press film. About two or three minutes later you get a 6-second 9:16 clip of it looking at you and pressing its paw against the screen.

How much does it cost?

Each Paws At You video uses 15 credits. You can get credits with $4.99 for 3 videos (first purchase only), $9.90 for 8 videos or $24.90 for 23 videos, or a monthly plan. If a video fails, the credits go back automatically.

Can I use a drawing of my OC?

Yes — if it is your own art or you have the artist’s permission. A clear front or three-quarter view of the face works best, and the drawing style is kept.

What photos work best?

One animal or character, face clearly visible, in good light. It does not need to be looking at the camera already; the AI turns it to face you first.

Does it add the “*paws at you*” text?

No. The clip is clean, with no text and no sound, so you can write your own line and add the trending sound on TikTok, X or Reels.

Can I use someone else’s photo?

Only your own pets, your own art, or people who agreed. No celebrities, and no art by other artists without permission.
