About this policy

Memebop, operated by JINYAN LLC, turns photos you choose to upload into AI-generated entertainment videos. This policy applies to memebop.com, including accounts, generation tools, purchases, and support. Our operator details are in the legal notice.

Information We Collect

1. Accounts and Google sign-in. When you sign in with Google, we request only openid, email, and profile. Google provides an account identifier, email address and verification status, and basic profile information such as your name and profile picture. We store the information needed to create or link your Memebop account and maintain your sign-in session. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Photos, contacts, or calendars. Email registration instead uses the name, email, and password you submit; passwords are stored as hashes.
2. Generation content. We process the photos you upload, any text or options you submit, intermediate scene images or audio when the selected tool needs them, generated videos, and task status or error information.
3. Payments. Stripe processes card details. Memebop stores order and payment references, purchased credits, amounts, and transaction status so purchases and refunds can be reconciled. We do not store full payment card numbers.
4. Technical and support information. We process session cookies, IP and approximate country information, browser or device information in requests, referral information, and messages you send to support. These help operate the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures.

How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

• Authenticate you and associate your videos, credit balance, and purchases with your account.
• Send your chosen inputs to the AI service and return the resulting images or videos.
• Process purchases, reconcile credits and refunds, and provide account or service messages.
• Respond to support requests and detect fraud, security incidents, and prohibited content.

Google account data is used for account access and operation, not as an input to image or video generation. Memebop does not sell Google user data, use it for personalized advertising, or use it to train general-purpose AI models. Photos used for generation come from your explicit uploads, not from your Google account.

Data Sharing

We use service providers for the following purposes:

• Google authenticates users who choose Google sign-in.
• Cloudflare hosts the application, stores account and task records and media, protects traffic, and provides transactional email delivery.
• Kie and the model providers it uses process the photos, prompts, and other generation inputs required for the tool you selected. We do not send your Google sign-in credentials or Google profile to the generation API. Provider-side processing and retention are also subject to those providers' policies.
• Stripe processes payments and receives information needed for checkout, such as your email address and order details.

Authorized operators may access records to provide support, investigate abuse, and operate the service. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users or the service. Providers may process data in countries other than your own.

Who can access your media

Original uploaded photos and free preview files are blocked on our public media domain. The application uses temporary signed links to let an authorized browser or an AI provider retrieve the files needed for a generation. Anyone who obtains a valid signed link can use it until it expires.

Some completed video files are served through public media URLs so they can be played and downloaded. Anyone with one of these URLs can access that file. Treat a video link as shareable; do not upload private material that you would not want included in a shareable result. Copies downloaded or reposted by others are outside our control.

Data Security

We use HTTPS, account and administrator access controls, hashed passwords, and signed access to private media. Service credentials saved in the production administration panel are encrypted at rest. These measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention and deletion

Account, generation, credit, and support records are retained as needed to provide the service and resolve support or transaction issues. An expiring media link does not mean the underlying stored file has been deleted. We do not promise automatic deletion after a fixed number of hours.

You can request deletion of your account, uploaded photos, or generated files through our contact page. Identify the account and, for individual files, the relevant generation or link. We may need to verify that the request is yours. Transaction or security records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud. Provider-retained data and copies that other people downloaded may follow different retention schedules.

Your Rights

You can edit available profile details in your account settings and contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion of your information. Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply. You can revoke Memebop's Google access from your Google Account's third-party connections settings; revoking access does not itself delete an existing Memebop account or its records.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the service.
